[jdom-interest] Failing tests

That's too bad.  My rationale, and I was going to try this on the plane
tomorrow, was that I only needed the Canonicalizer class, a couple of helpers
and one utility class.  I started with the idea that I could just copy the code
out, but it seems the Canonicalizer is pretty dependant on the rest of the
package.  That may be where I run into trouble.
