Like the fox's lonely strain
At night, an annoying refrain
To be ignored - what a pain

Like the freezing storm that
That is neither snow nor rain
Wish that it went away and
Showed us something cold and pretty
Like the snow
Or gave us warmth and refreshing
Like summer rain.

They who speak profane
Are as they who scream in pain
For they have nothing more to gain
But as a source of sore migraine
