[jdom-interest] logo proposal

Jason,

You're welcome. If you guys decide on something you like, you're free to 
use it. I've updated the proposal page taking into consideration your last 
suggestion. After several stabs at something different with the black box 
I've come to the conclusion that it all just adds confusion and detracts 
from the design's "elegance." In fact, they were so bad, I'm not even going 
to post them - take my word ;-)

If anyone has an idea that maybe the logo should look "more/less like brand 
X" drop me a note. I do have ideas for adding animation to the "basic" logo 
though.

Does anyone know Sun's exact policy on using Duke to promote Java 
Technology? With that said, you shouldn't have too much trouble imagining 
possibilities looking at the "basic" logo. I've read sources that seem to 
indicate he's fair game to promote Java Technology:
