Not fair, Bob left on his own accord.  If he wants to say it's because
of a repeated thread, okay.  Personally I find this namespace thread
minor compared to some of the permathreads on other lists.

Regardless because this same question keeps re-accuring, it should be a good
indication to *us* that *we* haven't provide adequate documentation (either in
the form FAQ, javadocs, whatever) and need to do something about it. Leaving
answers to commonly asked questions buried deep in the mailing list archives
is not a good solution IMHO.
