[jdom-interest] W3C DOM and JDOM

Hi all. I've just discovered the existence of JDOM and have tried it out. 
It looks interesting and lives up to the idea of making things easy for the 
programmer. I'd like to use it but am wondering whether there are any 
(other) compelling reasons why I should deviate from the W3C's DOM Java 
binding. Relevant documentation only mentions that the two are 
complementary, but it seems they provide similar functionality.

Is there a repository of concise reasons to prefer JDOM over W3C DOM?
